Yay Luka!! Depending on how it goes with everyone, I am thinking we may need to read Age of Innocence together right after we finish Mirth…!!

I'm in, Haley!! Surprisingly, despite all the many literature courses I have taken, I have never read The House of Mirth (nor any other Edith Wharton, in fact!) So I am putting myself in your capable hands to show me the joys of your favourite novel - can't wait :)

Oh my goodness, I can't believe you haven't read it and *what a treat for me* to get to be nearby while you read it for the first time!! Excited.

Ah! I love this so much, Haley. This is EXACTLY the type of learning that I promote when people ask me about my Rebel MFA Degree. I have a feeling I will learn so much more from this experience than I would elsewhere, and it makes me incredibly giddy. Also, I haven't read any Edith since my undergrad and it's about time she gets some more attention. Excited for this!

This sounds really fun! I listened to an audiobook of The House of Mirth when I was a teenager and I remember being completely devastated by it. So far I've never revisited the book - now seems like a great time to do that! Very excited about this.

Amazing!! It's a pretty devastating read...and so worth the emotional roller coaster. Happy to have you along!!
